Brooksource is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a leading retail client based out of Jacksonville, FL. This resource will support retail solutions specifically within pricing technology for in-store and digital pricing data. This is a solution-oriented role, with a focus on increasing efficiencies and supporting all aspects of the SDLC. This role will provide the right candidate the opportunity to work on high visibility project solutions with a growing organization!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, build, deploy, and unit test applications to be put into production and used to support in-store and digital pricing models including but not limited too: On-shelf pricing, web/mobile and ecommerce application pricing integration.
  • Collaborate with the BA’s on project to help architect and define technical requirements.
  • Maintain working relationships with other vendor partners to help build technical solutions.
  • Expected to publicly communicate and guide strategy of build to leadership, peers, and relevant stakeholders in formal/informal settings.
  • Develop and foster relationships with other teams to help promote milestone achievement upstream/downstream of the build.
  • Expected work cross-functionally with cloud and architecture teams to create and maintain architecture documentation.
  • Will be leveraged as a thought leader within the team to drive efficiencies and prove ROI for new developments.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in programming within a .NET environment, C#, APIM tools, SQL Server (2012+)
  • Experience using IBM Data Stage or similar ETL tool
  • Experience building and deploying applications in a cloud environment (Azure)
  • Utilization of ArchiMate or similar architecture documentation tool
  • Experience delivering applications in an Agile environment
  • Retail Pricing experience is a plus

Experience:

  •  5+ years experience in Software Engineering, Development, or similar field
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years relevant experience
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
