Job Details:

IDR is seeking a skilled Windows Systems Administrator to ensure the integrity and availability of our clients hardware, network, and server resources in a 24/7 environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system administration, troubleshooting, and monitoring across physical, virtual, and AWS cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain system integrity and availability.
  • Communicate with enterprise customers to understand service delivery needs.
  • Manage configuration systems for compliance with security and disaster recovery policies.
  • Perform software and system configuration for end-user workstations and servers using automation tools.
  • Research, test, and deploy application and operating system updates.
  • Maintain backups of critical systems in accordance with policies.
  • Respond proactively to system issues with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and recovery situations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technology-related field or 5+ years of relevant IT experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with monitoring tools and administering Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Proven experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Clustering Technology, VMware, and Nutanix.
  • Familiarity with Configuration Management Tools (e.g., Microsoft System Center).
  • Understanding of PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience in on-prem to cloud migration.
  • Commvault/Storage Backup experience.
  • Must be available for 24/7 on-call support.
